The Lab team welcomed a group of students from the Computer Science department of the Arta Evening Vocational High School and presented them with impressive virtual reality applications that it has developed.
The team presented the AMVRADIA project, explaining the use of computer vision algorithms for monitoring and diagnosing diseases in birds. Participants also had the opportunity to take a virtual tour of the Castle of Arta using the HERMES virtual reality application. During the visit, a demonstration of the Lab’s drones was held. The team explained how drones are used in various fields and how this technology enables tasks that were previously difficult or impossible to carry out.
The students had the opportunity to experience cutting-edge technologies firsthand and discuss the importance of technological advancements in the professional world.
