I received my diploma and PhD degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Patras in 1999 and 2006, respectively.
My research interests include:
- expert systems for biomedical and industrial applications
- data mining and knowledge discovery using advanced data fusion techniques
computational intelligence (evolutionary algorithms, neural networks, soft computing, intelligent & expert systems)
- design & development of decision support systems for medical application (obstetrics/gynecology, …, cardiology, sleep research, Epilepsia) using computational methods
- biomedical signal / image processing & analysis (cardiotocograms,
- electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram, mammograms) using advanced computational methods.
