Visit by students from 10th-grade students from the Louros General High School

Today, the 10th-grade students from the Louros General High School visited the Knowledge & Intelligent Computing Lab, where they had the opportunity to explore augmented and virtual reality applications. The lab team briefed the students on the lab’s activities and the importance of technology in tourism applications, presenting the applications developed as part of the Hermes project. The students were thrilled both by the virtual tour of the Castle of Arta—where, through virtual reality activities, they learned about the region’s history—and by the augmented reality app they can use on their cell phones.
