The Laboratory of Knowledge & Intelligent Computing of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina participated in the 9th Panhellenic Exhibition of Arta. A large number of visitors of all age groups visited our booth and got to know closely the innovative digital applications developed by the research team of our laboratory, as well as the research projects we are implementing.
As noted by the Director of the Laboratory Mr. Ioannis Tsoulos, Associated Professor, “the aim of our Laboratory is to highlight new technologies such as virtual reality, computational intelligence and computational methods. A large part of the research projects we have implemented in recent years concerns the promotion of cultural heritage, both in Arta and in Greece. Also, a large part of the projects we are implementing concerns the development of new technologies for the processing of medical data, as well as for recommendation systems. We continue to offer as much as possible to the society of Arta and the society of Epirus through the use of new technologies”.
